Sherman Center
Pedestrian Plan (HVCEO Study, April, 2007)
Featured Client Project
Sherman is
a a rural, historic (founded 1736) community in
Northwestern Connecticut. The community is growing rapidly with two busy
State roadways intersecting in the town center. The plan demonstrates a
pedestrian walkway system for the town center that maintains its rural
character yet maximizes pedestrian access to the major facilities and provides
for safety.
Kennedy Place...Redevelopment of a
contaminated, abandoned industrial site to provide market rate housing to
enhance a downtown undergoing revitalization. Since the site is close to the Still River in downtown Danbury, a key component of the site planning and development will be stormwater management.
